TutorConnect Home Tuition (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") operates a tutor placement service connecting qualified teachers with students seeking home tuition in Ranchi, Jharkhand. By registering, you enter a binding agreement with us.
1.1 The Platform facilitates connections between Tutors and parents/students ("Clients"). We do not guarantee placements but make reasonable efforts based on Tutor qualifications, location, and availability.
1.2 Tutors are independent contractors, not employees. All tutoring occurs directly between Tutor and Client.
1.3 Registration fee (₹100 or as displayed) is non-refundable processing charge for verification and listing, unless covered by our Guarantee.
2.1 Provide accurate, truthful information including qualifications, Aadhaar, photos, and documents.
2.2 Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and quality teaching.
2.3 Do not solicit Clients directly for payments bypassing the Platform.
2.4 Report session details if requested for verification.
2.5 Comply with local education laws and child protection standards.
3.1 Registration requires uploading valid documents (Aadhaar, qualifications). False information leads to immediate rejection and permanent ban.
3.2 Verification may take 3-7 days. Approved Tutors are listed; rejected ones receive reason via WhatsApp/email.
3.3 Platform reserves the right to reject/suspend without refund if documents are invalid, incomplete, or suspicious.
4.1 "3 MONTHS STUDENT GUARANTEE": We pledge reasonable efforts to allocate 1-2 suitable students within 90 days of your profile approval. However, this is not an absolute guarantee of income as it depends on market factors.
4.2 If no placement is offered within 90 days, you are eligible for a full registration fee refund (minus ₹50 admin/processing charge) upon written request.
4.3 This Guarantee is VOID if:
5.1 Registration Fee: ₹100 (non-refundable except under guarantee clauses).
5.2 Client Fees: Collected directly by Platform unless specified otherwise.
5.3 Commission: Tutor compensation is subject to a Platform-determined commission (e.g., 60-80% of the first month's fee, disclosed post-placement). Subsequent months may have lower or zero commission as per specific arrangement.
5.4 Payments to Tutors: Processed monthly via bank/UPI after Client confirmation, subject to verification. No advance payments. Tutors are responsible for their own taxes/GST.
6.1 Registration fee is refundable ONLY under the 90-day guarantee clause (Section 4).
6.2 No Refunds For: Rejected applications due to fake docs, voluntary withdrawal by Tutor, poor performance, or market unavailability beyond our control (except as covered by guarantee).
6.3 Cancellation Policy: 48 hours notice required for sessions; late cancellation may forfeit pay.
6.4 Processing: All valid refunds processed within 7-10 working days via original payment method.
7.1 Tutors agree not to contact Clients directly for ongoing services, additional subjects, or payments bypassing the Platform for a period of 24 months post-placement.
7.2 Breach Penalty: Breach incurs liquidated damages of ₹50,000 or 24 months projected commission (whichever higher), plus legal costs.
7.3 Clients introduced via Platform remain exclusive for the exclusivity period.
8.1 Any mention of "Earn ₹10,000+ potential" is illustrative based on average active tutor placements. Actual earnings vary by qualifications, location, demand, and hours worked.
8.2 No guaranteed minimum income. Platform is not liable for zero or low earnings.
9.1 We verify documents but cannot guarantee Client payment reliability or safety. Tutors should exercise due caution.
9.2 Platform holds no liability for Client-Tutor disputes, cancellations, or personal outcomes.
9.3 Force Majeure: Illness, natural disasters, or technical failures excuse performance delays.
10.1 Disputes resolved amicably first, then arbitration under Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
10.2 Jurisdiction: Courts of Ranchi, Jharkhand.
10.3 Governing Law: Indian Contract Act, 1872; IT Act, 2000 (for electronic acceptance).
11.1 Platform may terminate accounts for breach, poor ratings, or complaints without notice/refund.
11.2 Tutors may withdraw anytime, forfeiting pending fees/guarantees.
